Vida comes through your employer or health plan
Vida Health isn't a weight-loss subscription you can buy on your own. It's a telehealth program for obesity and other metabolic conditions that employers and health plans offer as a benefit. If yours includes it, Vida says the program costs you nothing. If it doesn't, there's no cash-pay sign-up and no published price, for the program or for any GLP-1. The first step is to create an account and see whether you're eligible through your benefits.
Because the medication runs through your coverage, what you'd pay for a GLP-1 prescription depends on your pharmacy benefit, not on Vida. Ask your plan what a prescribed GLP-1 would cost you before you start.

What the obesity program includes
Depending on what your benefit covers, your care team may include doctors and nurse practitioners who can prescribe, registered dietitians, health coaches and licensed therapists. Vida says its obesity care is led by physicians board-certified in obesity medicine, and that GLP-1s are prescribed and adjusted when a provider decides they're appropriate. Medication isn't automatic. The program layers coaching, medical nutrition therapy and, for higher-risk members, a full metabolic evaluation with lab oversight.
For members already on a GLP-1, Vida adds structured lifestyle support, remote monitoring and refill reminders. Visits happen by video in the Vida app or on a computer, and you can message your team between them. The app tracks food, weight and mood, and syncs with scales, smart rings and activity trackers.
Who provides the care
The clinicians practice within a group of independently owned medical practices called Vida Medical, which deliver care on Vida's platform. Vida says you can meet your care team from anywhere in the U.S. Beyond weight, the same team can help with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and mental health, if your plan includes those programs.

- Ask your plan what you'd owe for the medication itself.
