PlushCare

Patients who want a real board-certified physician managing GLP-1s alongside general primary care, and are prepared to navigate insurance or a manufacturer cash-pay program rather than a single flat price.

Reasons to consider it

  • Board-certified physicians (not NP-only) available in all 50 states for general virtual primary care
  • Lists the Zepbound self-pay prices by dose on its own page: vials at $299, $399 and $449 a month, pens at $650
  • Owned by Transcarent, a venture-backed platform with a named, traceable corporate lineage

What to weigh up

  • Compounded semaglutide ($149 at 0.25 mg, $299 above) is offered only while the brand drug is on FDA's shortage list, and compounded options only in 40 states plus DC
  • A $19.99/mo membership (first month free) and, without insurance, a $129 visit come on top of the medication price
  • The Wegovy page still quotes a $199 first-months price 'valid through March 2026', a date that has passed; its own headline says from $499

Ivim Health

Shoppers ready to commit to a multi-month program who want weekly check-ins, or insured shoppers who want help getting brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound covered.

Reasons to consider it

  • Publishes six-month rates: compounded semaglutide $75 and tirzepatide $133 a month, plus the $74.99 monthly program fee
  • Also prescribes brand-name Wegovy, the Wegovy pill, Foundayo, Zepbound and others, with an insurance team that handles prior authorizations
  • Weekly app check-ins and refills timed to your plan, with dose adjustments by your provider

What to weigh up

  • Programs run one, two, four or six months, and the FAQ says you can't cancel once a program starts; leaving early can cost $50 or $100 per unshipped portion
  • No month-to-month price is published: the advertised rates are six-month rates, and the cost at a higher dose isn't shown
  • Doesn't name its pharmacy or list the states it serves

Regulatory note: the FDA issued a warning letter to Ivim Services LLC dba Ivim in February 2026. We still list and link to Ivim Health; you should know the letter is on the public record before you decide.
